These Terms, Conditions & Website Disclaimer (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and any coaching, training, facilitation, digital products, workshops, or related services provided by Authentic You (“Coach”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing this website or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of Coaching Services

We provide professional coaching services which may include, but are not limited to, goal setting, strategic planning, accountability support, skill development and performance coaching (“Services”). 

 

Coaching is a confidential, collaborative, client-driven process that supports clarity, self-awareness and progress toward personal or professional goals.

Coaching is not therapy or counselling. It does not involve psychological, medical, legal, or financial advice, nor diagnosis or treatment of any mental health condition. If you require therapeutic, medical, legal, or financial support, it is your responsibility to seek appropriate licensed professionals.

2. Website Content & Educational Purpose

All content on this website — including articles, blog posts, videos, downloadable materials, tools, frameworks, and resources — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

Nothing on this website constitutes professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Your use of any information from this website is voluntary and at your own risk.

3. No Guarantees of Results

Any testimonials, case studies, examples, or descriptions of outcomes are illustrative only.

You acknowledge that:

  • Results depend on your own commitment, engagement, and actions

  • Individual results vary

  • No guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes

 

4. Client Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and results

  • You are responsible for your emotional well-being

  • Coaching may at times be personally or emotionally challenging

  • You will seek additional professional support where necessary

  • The Coach does not make decisions on your behalf and does not provide advice or direction.

 

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Coach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this website or Services.

  • The Coach shall not be liable for any decisions or actions taken by you.

  • The Coach’s total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the relevant Services.


6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Coach from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of this website

  • Your participation in Services

  • Your decisions and actions

  • Your breach of these Terms


7. Confidentiality

Information shared during coaching sessions will be treated as confidential, except:

  • Where disclosure is required by law

  • Where illegal activity is involved

  • Where there is risk of harm to you or others

  • Where written consent is provided

 

Confidentiality does not apply to information that is publicly known, independently developed, or lawfully obtained from a third party.

8. Data Protection & PDPA (Singapore)

Personal data (including name, contact details, and relevant engagement information) may be collected solely for providing Services and managing administrative matters.

All personal data is handled in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and stored with reasonable safeguards.

For purposes of applying for or maintaining credentials with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the Coach may share your name, contact details, and coaching start and end dates with ICF or credential verification parties. No session notes or personal coaching content will be shared.

You may request access to or correction of your personal data in writing.

9. Fees, Payments & Refunds

Fees for Services will be agreed upon in writing prior to commencement.

 

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Full payment is required before the first session

  • Fees are non-refundable

  • Sessions must be used within the agreed coaching period

 

Specific cancellation and rescheduling terms are governed by the signed Coaching Agreement.

 

10. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel

  • Sessions cancelled or missed with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered completed

  • Late arrival shortens the session accordingly

 

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, coaching materials, tools, frameworks, graphics, branding, logos, and downloadable resources are the intellectual property of the Coach unless otherwise stated.

They are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

  • Reproduce

  • Distribute

  • Modify

  • Republish

  • Share with third parties

  • Use commercially

without prior written permission. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

12. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Engage in unauthorised access or interference

  • Upload malicious or harmful code

  • Attempt to copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit website content

  • Infringe intellectual property rights

 

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for misuse.

 

13. External Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites for convenience. We are not responsible for the accuracy, content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party websites. Accessing external links is at your own discretion and risk.

14. Independent Contractor Status

The Coach operates as an independent contractor and is not an employee, partner, or agent of any client.


15. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate Services or restrict website access if these Terms are breached or if continued engagement is no longer appropriate.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation, arbitration, or the courts of Singapore.

17. Severability

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

 

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of this website or Services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
